Ford 8N: Parts to Parade: Part 2

We finally have all of the 'red' parts on the tractor and painted the chassis. We started doing body work on the fenders. We used heavy body filler and spot putty to take out small pits. The hood is turning out nice, and is currently in primer. It will be ready to be painted on Saturday. The next step will be to put the wiring harness, gauges, radiator and hoses on.

Ford 8N: Parts to Parade: Part 1

I bought this tractor as a whole pile of parts. My challenge this week was to put the tractor together to make it parade ready. This picture was taken after I had worked on it for a good long day to get it to this step. When I bought the tractor, I was told it had a rebuilt engine. We'll see if this is correct once we get to that step. I did run a compression test after putting the starter on. It has good compression on all 4 cylinders. Stay tuned for more.
